FILMBILDARCHIV WIPPITSCH (which is German and means ARCHIVE OF MOVIE IMAGES in English) is a vintage movie stills and memorabilia collection and supplies images for editorial uses only.

My private collection contains more than 100000 images. It ranges from about the 1930s to the late 1970s, from the Hollywood classics to the best creations of the European cinema.

My trademark is not a huge amount of images but the especially fine and artful selection of the best images – really striking pictures in high quality, and each of them with the power to amaze the viewer!

By the way: I have worked three decades as a web press operator at a printing company. So I know a lot about printing – and how to process images to print in high quality. Each image is scanned and edited carefully by hand.
